About us 

She & Society was founded by Saranda Muslic a student who recognized a gap in youth-led spaces for thoughtful, informed discussion about gender, power, and culture. What began as a small writing initiative quickly grew into a platform for research-driven storytelling, advocacy, and dialogue, created by students, for students. Our team is made up of writers, editors, researchers, and creatives from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique perspectives shaped by personal experience and academic curiosity. Together, we collaborate to produce work that is intentional, respectful, and impactful. At our core, She & Society values intellectual honesty, empathy, and accountability. We believe in challenging systems, centering marginalized voices, and grounding passion in research. Above all, we are committed to empowering young people to think critically, speak confidently, and contribute meaningfully to conversations that shape society, while keeping alive passion and fun in femininity.
